A Family of Chocolate Lovers!
My love of chocolate and baking comes from my grandmother, Nana Steil. She was an incredible cook and baker and always made everything from scratch. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of the treats my Nana used to give to me. When growing up, my sister Erin, was the baker in our family. It was Erin who developed and fine-tuned the Toffee recipe that I make today. My passion for high quality dark chocolate comes from my Dad who would go to great lengths to find the best dark chocolate candies in the city.
Erin and I continue to make the toffee every year at Christmas time to give as gifts to friends and family. When I moved to Calistoga in 1994, I continued the family tradition of sharing these heavenly treats with friends and neighbors. read more >>
All of my treats follow traditional recipes and only the freshest,
natural ingredients are used. Most recipes are gluten-free and very
little product goes unused. Excess chocolate, toffee and crushed
almonds go into other recipes and make great toppings for
ice cream and other desserts.
